Can I watch my recordings on my phone when I'm away from home?

I'm going to be away from Thursday to Tuesday and I really want to watch the Mexican F1 grand prix, if I use the sky Go app when I'm not on wifi I can't watch any of my recordings. Am I missing something as that's something I was able to do when I was with Virgin Media so I'm hoping sky offer that too.

I want to set my sky Q box to record the practice, quali and race then watch them on my phone or tablet when I'm free.

You are not missing anything as you can only watch live tv via the sky go app when you are on the same network as your Sky Q box so when you are elsewhere then this will not be possible.

What's the point in the app if it can't be used away from home?
