Can I record a future programme on sky go from South Africa to watch when back in the UK?

Hi all, I've just upgraded my package to include sport and want to record the full episode of Solheim Cup starting Thursday 12th ending Sunday 15th...but I'm in South Africa and only back the 18th. Is this possible please? Thank you in advance.

You should be able to set a remote recording from the TV Guide section of the Sky Go app or via the Sky.com website.

Thank you for the reply, but it still says the same message when I try to record anything.... 

"Something went wrong

Record request not sent, please try again later." 

It also will not load anything on the TV guide apart from today. 

Reckon customer service would be able to do it if I call and ask? 

I'm having to do it via a VPN as you can't log in from SA.

It is probably something to do with the VPN you are using that is causing the issue.

I doubt that Sky would set the recording for you so is there nobody (family member etc) that can do this for you.
