I recently received a new SkyQ box and would now like to use the Sky go app on my iPhone and iPad. I search settings on my devices but found SkyGo unlisted although other Sky apps are.
On the actual sky go app itself in the TV listings non of the BBC channels are listed.
I have tried reinstalling the app without success and again the app does not appear in the settings of both devices

If you are in the TV Guide then make sure "Record to Sky box" is selected.

If the Go app does not detect a Sky box on the local network, it assumes it is 'away from home'. In such circumstances the BBC do not permit its channels to be streamed through Go, in order to drive usage of iPlayer.

Hi thank you for helpful reply to my question. I am however connected to my Sky Q box yet the BBC channels do not appear on the SkyQ app TV listings

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThat should be the Sky Go app: the Q app hasn't been supported for about a year, when its functionality was merged with Go.

I have the same problem, no BBC channels on the Sky Go app. I do not have multi screen . Is there a solution?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you don't have a multiscreen subscription then your Sky Go app will not connect to your Sky Q box as this is the only way to view the BBC channels via the Sky Go app.

I have multi screen, I'm on the same network, 'connect to the sky q' box is selected in settings but it still won't show me the bbc channels in the sky go app.
i don't even want to watch them in the app; I just want the same facility to set a recording up that I had in the old Sky HD app.
I take your point about the bbc restrictions but it seems as though it should work with my setup.
