Very occasionally we get the search bar pop up all on its own, and then the voice control listens to whatever is being spoken off the TV audio. It might then switch away to show the search results, or even go to whatever programme was found.
We're nowhere near the remote, it's often just sat on the coffee table.
Any ideas what might be activating it?
Cheers.

Sky glass has 2 mics on far field that is listening for you to say hello sky and the other on the remote. Sometimes it gets it wrong. You can disable the far field mic by pressing the button on the side of the TV or the menu accessed by the 3 white dots on your remote.
This will not affect the remote mic function which will continue to work when pressing and held.

Re: Voice control activates randomly (button not pressed)
Great, thank you, I'd thought it was only accessible by the remote.
I'll try that later.
Thanks again.

Re: Voice control activates randomly (button not pressed)
I was hoping to come back and mark as answered, after I'd confirmed it was that. It was, but I got beat to it by another user.
So I just wanted to confirm this was my solution, and thank you.
