Glass remotes don't need activating!   So im a bot confused by yopur post.

 

You do need to pair it to the Glass TV to take advantage of the bluetooth capability  https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv/sky-tv-glass/fixing-a-problem-sky-glass/fixing-sky-glass-remote...
