In the traditional sense "recordings" don't exist on Sky Glass. Items that are on your playlist will playback through various methods as well either directly from Sky's servers or from a third party app e.g ITV X, BBC iplayer etc and each app has their own method of enabling subtitles ( its not possible to globally enable subtitles through one option across all third party apps and Sky's own playback service).
What show in particular are you trying to watch back?
