Soundbar problem

My Orbitsound sound bar makes a horrendous noise when using the optical lead. All worked well on my Sony TV?

any suggestions?

@Satch1 given your question is not relevant Waht's on Sky TV if you post the Sky box your sound bar is connected to it can be moved to the relevant forum. Hiwever most likely cause is that the sound bar is incompatable with audio type being sent to it. Try changing the output to PCM.
