Sky glass with freeview

I have recently signed up to sky glass. While liking the system I am disappointed that some channels are not available, especially talking pictures.   I'm a great fan of old films.

can I set up a free view box with the sky glass tv and access missing channels?

You can attach any external device over HDMI.

There's also an aerial socket on Glass for a DTTV aerial, and a very recent software change appears to have activated this for 'normal' use.

Sky Glass 55" (on ethernet) & two Stream Pucks (one ethernet / one WiFi)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Sky glass with freeview

The ses satellite will be turned off 2030 or a year or 2 later, freeview and terrestrial are also doomed.

by 2040 it's all going to be streamed due to commercial cost or to free the airwaves for the mobile companies.

Will be interesting to see how many channels die during the transition.

With this in mind any new Ariel's or freesat/ freeview boxes will be a short term investment and waste of money.
