Sky Remote - changing channels direction
Hi there,
Why do "up" and "down" go different directions when I'm scrolling depending on the view? E.g. when scrolling with just channel numbers pressing "up" goes from 417 to 418 etc.. However when scrolling with the channel/programme preview pressing "up" goes from 417 to 416 etc.
Anyone else find this odd/annoying/have a fix?

Re: Sky Remote - changing channels direction
@m_oleary I agree it can be annoying but there is nothing we can do as there is no option to change it. Sky Q was exactly the same and I suppose after many years I have just got used to it but still get it wrong from time to time.

Re: Sky Remote - changing channels direction
It's whether you consider up means increase channel number .... and down means move down a list🤔

Re: Sky Remote - changing channels direction
@Exiled-in-HH The point is the direction changes depending on what you are doing which is where the confusion comes. Depending on what you are doing the up arrow increases the channel number and at other times it decreases the channel number.
If it was just one direction for everything it would be better but as I mentioned it was the same with Sky Q so nothing is going to change.

Re: Sky Remote - changing channels direction
Although TVs often behave in exactly the same way ... my LG TVs do ... up increase channel number and down increase the channel number because the lowest number is at top of guide channel list😉

Re: Sky Remote - changing channels direction
This is the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced - surely there is a way to change the seating to ensure all goes the same way regardless? Another gripe I have is having to scroll through channels that I don't have, can't these just be skipped, as they are where the 'up' and 'down' switch in operation - @Sky - please tell me you have a solution to this? Thanks in advance
