Sky Glass TV Picture stuck and subtitles triggering

Got a strange intermittent issue which happens intermittently when watching live TV on our Sky Glass TV.  Seems isolated to live TV, it's happened on ITV (I'm a celebrity) and TNT (cricket).

The picture pixelates very briefly, then gets stuck repeating the same 1-2 sequence ( like a stuck record) and at the same time subtitles trigger and repeat like the picture.  If I switch channels everything is ok, then I switch back to the channel with the issue and it's ok.

Dont think it's WiFi/internet, our broadband and Wi-Fi are good, the Sky Glass TV is in the same room as the router, so we get full download/upload speeds and latency is low.  In addition, we have 2 pucks in different rooms which are much further from the router and we've not seen the same problem on the other TV's but they don't get watched as much as the Sky Glass TV.  It's doesn't happen very often but concerned we might have an issue with the TV.

Posting the issue here to see if anyone else has seen this problem. Not sure if the issue maybe related to the TV channels ( for example, not seen the issue watching live football on Sky Sports), or a bug/glitch with the glass TV, or maybe it is internet/broadband related.

Sky Glass gen2 42"

2 pucks

Sky max broadband 300GB

Thanks,

Stuart

Hi @Stu_B  I suspect it is just a minor software glitch. Do don't mention trying a restart of the Glass TV which would be the first thing I do at the first indication of a problem.

You can either unplug the TV for a couple of minutes and the plug it in again for it to reboot.  Alternatively, on the Glass TV go to settings > System Management > Resets & updates and then select restart device.  Either way it will take a couple of minutes to reboot during which time you will have a blank screen for a minute or so.
