My sky glass is not working. Its not getting switch on

19/09/24 After watching l switched of the tv by remote.. After that my son disconected. Ather that today 20/09/24 i try to switch on. I pluged in and switch on the electricity its not geting on.

my stream puck has stopped working on 19 august 24

My steaming puck stopped working on 19th August. I have tried rebooting without success.

The problem is not with my wifi as sky go on my Ipad is working ok.

Is there a ploblem in my area

Workaround not worked

So much for the "fix" that Sky has told people to do. I've reset one of my Sky pucks 3 times and can't get past pin and reset pin multiple times and still says it's incorrect.

 

currently on phone to them now. This is just ridiculous. So for all the people saying it's a fix, it clearly isn't.

Tried it at least 20 times on stream.

I get a code to link my account but the Sky page says 'Oops, there's a problem'

Everything you do just goes around in circles, it's rediculous.

Sky seem to have two people in their so called 'call centre' and one is always on a break.

Sky customer service is disgusting.

FORTUNATELY, I can watch TV on my laptop (F1) but it really is not good enough for 2024!!!!!!

@TimmyBGood  I was on the phone with sky when mine didn't work, I have to wait for a phone call back to order a new glass tv as mine is not responding to this so called fix?

Waaaaaaaay too many people here clearly NOT following the correct(!!!) reset instructions for the puck...

 

For the puck :-

1) Turn it's wall socket power OFF (or unplug the power cable from the puck)

2) Press - and KEEP HOLDING - the small 'power' button you will see underneath the puck (circle with line) - as you turn on the mains power (or plug the cable back in). Keep holding in that button!

3) Keep holding in that button till the led changes from flashing white - this WILL take around 10 seconds

4) Once the led changes colour let go of the reset button and follow the on screen instructions.

 

The units are NOT bricked by the recent update, but they WILL need reset. If you follow the above instructions and are NOT seeing the puck initialising (with on screen instructions) then you are doing something wrong!

No posts have been locked, if you look at the ones showing as locked it's because they are being merged into the existing thread regarding the Powering on problem.

 

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I've done all this, it's rebooted but now stuck on the incorrect pin garbage. Reset pin 5 times and it's still saying incorrect.

Link Sky Strean puck to my account via app

I have reset my sky stream due to outage in area. I'm.on the final step requesting to enter code to link my account which enable me to watch channels. Where on the app do I go to link my account? Thanks
