Sky Glass Fast Forwarding issue on paused programs

If I pause a program and then come back to it and want to fast forward x30, the fast forwarding starts and then the screen freezes. 

I have to press play again and wait for the program to start playing again and then start fast forwarding slowly. x2 then x6, which seems to work,  I can then go to x12 but x30 causes the screen to freeze again. 

Any thoughts?

is it on all shows or just a certain show? 

have you tried pulling the plug for a few minutes to see if this helps?

Yes having this issue - often when I've paused ITV and fast forward adverts to try and catch up. Happens all the time
