Problem
Hi my tv keeps switching off and keeps loosing WiFi connection.there is nothing wrong with WiFi.tv smells as tho it's overheating.i may need a new plug or tv

How often does the TV power off and for what period of time is it powered on before this happens? Have you turned off auto standby in settings?
The TV needs a clear line of sight to the router for optimum performance if this is not possible try connecting via an Ethernet cable directly.
Burning! This needs looking into, you mention the plug is it getting hot? I'd suggest a call into Sky to discuss as you may need a replacement unit.
