ITVX programs flying to end on Sky Stream

So I've just turned on my TV to watch today's episode of Emmerdale and Coronation Street, At first everything seemed okay with Emmerdale I got to the ad break where I was then able to skip the ads but as the program we resumed and started playing again. It just skipped to the end credits of the episode. didn't think too much of it, then I go and watch Corrie, the start of the program played for about 30 seconds then again it just automatically skipped to the end credits

anybody else had this issue today?

My continue watching on favourites often plays 10 seconds and then fast forwards to the end

This seems to be a major problem with ITVX on the sky platform, I telephoned sky about this , but no help whatsoever , he said it was a problem with my wi-fi, but I know that this not the problem as everything else in my household that requires wi fi is working perfectly . Also if I watch ITVX on freeview   it works perfectly

I didn't know I was connected to your wi-fi as mine does it too.

I've got the same issue. I reported it to ITVX Help and they gave me the usual basic troubleshooting. At least I know I'm not the only one with the issue now. Hope it gets sorted soon as really annoying!

• Folks try the following, open tge ITVX app on your homescreen, type zero, 4 times and seven three times, on your Sky controller, this will reset the ITVX cache.

I've been having the same problem! Bbc I player is fine but itv x is doing the same for me. It starts up then jumps to the end of the programmes. We're all paying for a service that we're not getting.

Ok maybe have a bit of a fix, i tried not skipping the ads just let them play and got all the way through Corrie and Breaking Dad with no issues.

Yes that's always the excuse from Sky must be your wi-fi.

Been doing this for us all week, plays intro then a few seconds of program and immediately to the end. Another issue to add to the constant list sky stream seems to be conjuring up.
