What exactly have you tried previously to try and resolve this or is happening all the time, after any power or settings restarts?

What device is connected to your hdmi port that is failing?

Have you tried resetting the hdmi cable or tried another one?

Have you noticed anyone else suffering this problem on a Sky Gkass TV  recently on the Sky Community?

Each time hdmi is selected as per my video the screen flashes and returns to the homepage and does not engage the Connected hdmi device. Yes happens each time regardless of powering off etc.  The only thing that clears it is to disconnect t and reconnect the HDMI.

What device is connected to your hdmi port that is failing? Apple TV in my case but there are several threads here concerning Firestick

Have you tried resetting the hdmi cable or tried another one? Yes

Yes several threads on this issue and jporch mentioned he was raising this in the superuser forum as he also experienced the same issue with his Firestick.

Is there anything different to this thread and the the linked one below already answered by Sky?

https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Glass/TV-Screen-Glitching-Screen-Going-On-Off-when-using-HDMI/td-p/...

Feel it's probably best to copy this thread into that one, to keep on better track  with any updates or resolution.

@Jporch316 Is this still happening for you?

If you like @Anonymous, Myself or @Jporch316 will ask for any update or further thoughts Monday in our closed area.

For clarity. Is it failing on all hdmi ports on Sky Glass, or just one of the hdmi ports ?

If you have more than one Sky Glass TV, is it the same on all of them?

No that was one of the original threads and although marked as answered its not an answer in reality but just a notification by @KevNewMedia that he will raise it with the tech team. No answer no update.

I regrettably only have one Glass TV and it make no difference which hdmi port.

Not seen the problem since the week I reported before Christmas. Unplugged everything at the time and rebooted it all whilst on the relevant hdmi channel. Been on Xbox and firestick loads since and not happened again.

my son in law has a gen 1 glass and had the issue the same week as me with his firestick but that also not reoccurred

Slightly different issue we had from watching the video above. When selected the firestick the screen would flick between both rapidly until unplugged. I wanted to take a video and post but hasn't happened since the three times before Xmas

@Jporch316

I don't know what to say, I made the video to show I'm not making these issues up it's just a constant for me from one issue to another and it's daily.

I'd love to sit down with a Sky tech guy an go through everything that's wrong.

I've lost faith for a second time 😟

I have 3 Apple TV one connected to glass, one to LG OLED and one to a Samsung. I have swapped them and all work fine with the other TV'S and I've swapped hdmi cables.

It is 100% the Glass TV

It doesnt look like the issue I had tbh..... I more suspect it's a faulty glass tv

I and others in the main thread had an almost strobe like effect as the device and tv flicked back and forth rapidly
