HBO Max ads and program jumping back

I have Sky Glass, and I activated my HBO Max when it became available, however I have only gotten around to actually watching programs this week (Game of Thrones, which used to be on Sky Atlantic) and to my dismay, there are a bazillion ads which I can't fast forward, even though I have ad skipping as part of my package. And not only do the ads cut in at the most inconvient times, often after the break, the program jumps back to where it was after the previous break.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Ad skipping does not work on HBO Max. If you want it ad-free then you need to pay more to upgrade to a higher tier of HBO Max.
