Glass Air switching off
Hi. Just had Sky installed 3 days ago and set up a Glass Air at the same time. Today the TV keeps switching of whilst viewing and the remote doesn't work nor does the on/off button on the side of the TV. The only thing I can do is turn off the plug wait a while and then turn the plug back on and turn on the TV. This has happened 6 times today. What do I need to do. I also get 'No WiFi connection' message come up but the wif is working fine with other connected devices. To get over the no WiFi issue I have connected an Ethernet cable.

Re: Glass Air switching off
The TV has been fine over the last few days, so fingers crossed this carries on. If it
misbehaves I'll go straight to Sky for a resolution.

Re: Glass Air switching off
TV started playing up so I called Sky and they said it was a connectivity issue. I did explain that the broadband speeds were as expected and that the TV was connected via Ethernet. And why would the TV have a 'system crash' where the remote doesn't work nor do the buttons on the side of the TV work and we have to turn it off via the mains plug. I was told that this would escalated and that I'd get a call back around 3pm yesterday. I didn't get a call back – is this normal with Sky? I'm a first time customer so not sure what the customer service is like. Not sure what to do now. Saying that the TV was fairly stable last night.

Re: Glass Air switching off
Hi. I had Sky installed just three days ago and set up a Sky Glass Air at the same time. Today, the TV keeps switching off while I’m watching it, and when this happens the remote doesn’t work, nor does the on/off button on the side of the TV. The only way I can get it working again is by turning it off at the plug, waiting a while, and then switching it back on. This has happened six times today. I’m also seeing a “No Wi-Fi connection” message even though the Wi-Fi is working fine on ExperianCredit all my other devices. To work around that, I’ve connected the TV using an Ethernet cable, but the problem with the TV switching off is still happening.

@wegan Sometimes settings refresh apps or settings restart tv helps as well or turn everything off including router for few mins and switch back on had to do this myself on Skys advice

Re: Glass Air switching off
@wegan Confession time: I don't have any Glass TVs, however, I would suggest that you evaluate whether you want to keep the TV during your 31 day return window.
I am not a patient person, and I just expect a TV to work out of the box... full stop.
