Firestick 4k max, sky glass IR profile

I've just brought a new firestick, 4k max, and am in the middle of setting it up, now I'm stuck at the part where fire stick wants a IR profile code to use my remote, I've selected sky, but begins up IR profile as sky glass IR profile#5594 I select it and nothing is happening, advance settings ask me to enter IR profile number but I can't find it anywhere online.. and it's not for illegal purposes before anyone says anything.. sorry I've seen a lot of people mention it... just want to bypass so I can download apps that are available on sky glass... any help please???

Do you have a sky glass tv and remote ?, or do you have a smart tv that you are connecting the firestick to ?

Firestick remotes connect via Bluetooth to the Firestick itself. Ignore any IR profiles - you can add them later if necessary.

I have a sky glass tv, trying to connect a bread new firestick, but can't bypass the IR profile bit without a code for it!! So I've given up, sorry thanks, gonna return it and get an older version, my fault thinking newer was better... 😁

Unfortunately it won't allow me to get past the section where it's asking for the code... I've looked online and tried everything, spent 2 hours looking and entering codes and none worked, so I've given up and am returning the firestick, gonna get an older version... which is a shame really! But my mistake forgot thinking newer would have been better... so unless I buy a normal tv you can't use it with sky glass! Got an older version in my bedroom so I'll use that for now!!! Thanks for your help 😀
