Can't pause or skip on ITVX

We have The Masked Singer on from ITVX at the moment, and cannot pause or skip forward or backwards,only go back to the start.

We used to be able to do these things, has there been a change to ITVX?

@custardchris  Yes subscribing to Sky's ad skipping should cover ITVX (it certainly does in my case).  I suspect you have a software glitch so a reboot/restart may be all it needs.

To do this go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset).  It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t worry when this happens as it is normal.

It seems to be the watch from start on something that is currently live that I can't pause.

Have done the reset above, doesn't make any difference.

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to System Management
3. Press Select
4. Go to Resets and Updates
5. Press Select
6. Go to Restart Device
7. Press Select.

Note this will take a few minutes to reboot, so expect to see a blank screen for 2 minutes until the Sky logo appears as its starting up.

For total AD free no skipping and additional content you could subscribe to itvx premium.  I pay £3.99 through Google apps though I have seen it advertised at £5.99 in places.
