Ad Skipping Doesn't Work
Whenever I try to watch a show on playback on a sky channel, why doesn't the ad skipping function work? When I try to skip, it tells me to upgrade (I already have the function) then when I go to the upgrade page it tells me I already subscribe! It's when I've used sky max or sky Atlantic, or any of the sky channels really. Some help would be great please as in my stubborness I'm now missing out on shows to avoid the ads!

Hi @Saphyna Initially I would do a system restart by oging into settings >System Management > Resets and Updates and then Restart device. This procedure takes a couple of minutes and wil give you a blank screen for a while. This will hopefully sort out any software glitches.
I’m not sure what your expectations are but Ad Skipping will only work with catchup and Apps. Obviously it can't work on live broadcasts as this would be a physical impossibility.
Ad Skipping does not mean no adverts it means you can skip (i.e. fast forward) through them. It would obviously help if the FF function worked better than it does but that's another matter. Sky have introduced an Ad Skip button which works with Sky on demand content and is a great improvement

Have you tried a reboot in the first instance? Also does the ad skipping definitely snow as "Already Yours" on the MySky app or website?
You can reboot by going Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Reboot
