This is another commonly reported glitch which randomly affects Sky Glass. It's been reported ever since Glass launched in 2021, but Sky seem unable to find a permanent fix for it.

All you can do is turn the TV off at the wall for half an hour then turn it back on and allow it to reboot. If this doesn't clear it then you'll need to ring Sky for further troubleshooting and potential replacement (if you are within the 2 year warranty period.)

@roxann87I had exactly the same thing with a 2 inch wide vertical line on my Glass screen.  I found that a normal reboot didn't help so I left the TV unplugged overnight and the line disappeared and luckily it never came back.

Give it a try but if it doesn't resolve the issue I agree with @Mister_Dalek  that you should call Sky and if it is within the 24 month warranty period then request a replacement if any troubleshooting they suggest doesn't work.

I have the same issue.

It usually goes after a quick re-boot.  My concern is, that could this be a sign for an underlying issue Where the screen just eventually stops working?

Well, it's been an underlying issue for 3 years now...

If you want peace of mind then getting some form of warranty extension via Sky Protect or perhaps some other insurance provider will cover you for cost of replacement.

Or you could get rid of it and buy a smart TV from somewhere like John Lewis or Richer Sounds where all TVs come with a free 5 or 6 year warranty.
