This is a Mighty step forward fo sky..stand easy to fit!! No screws...why hasn't this been thought of before 🤔...soooo easy 🤗 set up is even easier and TV is up and running within minutes including update at start.. amazing picture and sound quality...I already have gen 1 in living room and got gen 2 for bedroom so no need for my whole home puck...both TVs work perfectly on my broadband package but make sure you have the right broadband for two sky glass TVs... overall 12 out of 10 ...well Happy 😊😁

@Oggy5 I'd be interested in your thoughts on how Gen 1 and Gen 2 compare with regard to sound and picture?

Received my SKY Glass Gen 2 on Tuesday this week. Delivery and install were a breeze. I went for the 55 inch model and couldn't be happier - really pleased with picture and sound quality. No issues whatsoever!

My set up is the TV and 2 pucks - running on Sky Full Fibre Gigafast.

I was wondering what picture settings everyone is using to get the very best out of the set - currently on VIVID.

@Mark39 the gen 2 this is superior in every way , picture, soundm setup,  problem now is I got 65inch gen 1 in the living room and 55inch gen 2 in the bedroom, when I upgrade the living room, not sure how much I will get if indeed possible the sell the tv.  I think sky need to have some sort of trade in options going forwarding there gonna continue with upgrades other than OS which I thought was going to be he case with the gen1. I have only had my gen1 for 2 years and still paying for it...maybe someone here knows already how to sell the gen1 or weather it is actually sellable?

My sky glass is fantastic, love the quality of the picture, love the HD and dolby surroundings, also love the built in speakers

You own the TV so it's yours to sell however you want. There's lots of Gen 1's on eBay though and the value of them will only drop as more become available.

Sky won't buy it from you. The same as no other TV manufacturer do.

Sky won't contact you as they don't know who you are from a post in a public forum.

However, you're still in your cooling off period, so make contact and arrange a return.

Like any other big heavy and three year old television, with the added complication that the new owner really needs a Sky subscription to get it to work as intended.  'Buyer collect' and a realistically low price is advisable.

Re: You've received your Sky Glass Gen 2, what are your thoughts on how it performs?

Received our sky glass gen2 on Thursday, delivery was a couple of hours early than promised but a nice change from most delivery companies these days. Only unboxed and set up today (Saturday) due to health problems and needed help unpacking and lifting. The construction of the tv stand was very easy but not as stable as the gen 1 set. A bit wobbly and not as sturdy. The actual set up of the sky glass was very easy as it new who I was the minute I turned it on and you just had to follow the prompts. Once set up I have to say the picture is a lot brighter than gen1 but not as crisp and I have to say the sound is not as good as gen1 in my opinion. Starting to wonder if this is a case of the "emperors new clothes" might be sending this back!
