Wrong Region

Hi,

I’ve recently moved to Moray in the North of Scotland and updated my Sky account with my new home address. However, I’m still receiving regional news and channels from the South East of England (where I moved from).

I’m on Sky Glass, and while it’s not a huge issue, it would be nice to get the local news and programmes for my new area instead.

Is there a way to update this so my regional channels match my current location?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @TB1718  The region is usually linked to your post code but if you have already changed your address with Sky I would call them to get it sorted out.  Your problem is not unusual as I have read about it before on the forum.

Before phoning Sky try pulling the plug from the wall socket for a couple of minutes and then plugging it in again to see if that jogs the viewing region when it reboots.

This change of address.

First, make sure you do a restart of your Sky Stream box or Sky Glass TV , even if you have done one in last few days.
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck or Sky Gkass TV will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

Make sure the address is listed correctly in your MySky app or online account, under My details.

It can take a few days to update.

Otherwise, your only option after say a week and it's not changed over is to call Sky.
