Re: New netflix 20% issue?
I know this is a stupid question but when you say a preventative way to handle Netflix freezing is to reboot the system every morning / is this by pulling out the puck plug or my plusnet broadband plug too?
thank you

Just the puck plug for about a minute.
if you use a smart plug you can time a reboot for when it is most convenient for you.

Re: New netflix 20% issue?
When will this issue get resolved, none of your resolutions work perminantly, the issue returns. I have also started having issues with Apple TV, just spinning and then the App times out with the message 'there is a problem loading this video' whats going on?

Re: New netflix 20% issue?
The points I make here are that Sky Glass requires a stable WiFi signal as well a 5 GHz feed. Therefore without this many Apps are likely to struggle to load.
The purpose of my daily reboot (which I accept could be overkill) is to reduce many of the minor issues that might occur. It does not improve a poor WiFi feed to the Sky Glass.
Please note, I purposely talk about WiFi stability not speed because whilst there is a minimum speed required or Sky Glass to operate I consider stability of the WiFi signal more important.
Additionally, I do not have pucks, so I cannot comment on them.

Re: New netflix 20% issue?
Just happened again, and opening those apps in that order and then re-launching Netflix fixed it again. Quite quick and easy to do. Thanks again for sharing this method.
Given three months have passed and Sky employees have been aware of the issue (and probably cause) for all that time, it's a bit worrying that the app hasn't been fixed by now though.

This is probably due to a low internet connection or unstable connection
whilst in Netflix can you go to the get help section and then to the network check - this will tell you what speed you are getting to your glass tv. You need a minimum of 30-35mb in real world speed to run efficiently if watching a UHD stream.
43inch Gen 1 and 55 inch Gen 2 Sky Glass & sky live camera 3 Pucks. Virgin media M500 on hub 5x. Four sky mobile sims.

@Chris19541 Some time ago there was a known issue where Netflix would sometimes get stuck on about 20% when loading programmes. TBH I haven't seen any posts on this for a while so thought it had been resolved.
There were two workarounds that used to work.
1 - Exit the Netflix App and load a live broadcast let it play for 2 or 3 seconds and then go back to Netflix and the programme you were trying to watch.
2 - Go to Netflix "Get Help" and select reload Netflix.
If my post has solved your issue please mark as an "Answer" as it helps others identify the solution
If it has helped please give it a "Like"
