Switching From Sky Stream to Sky Glass

Having had problems with our Sky Stream puck we decided to change to Sky Glass.  We ordered it today and all went well.  But there was nowhere to choose the tv package.  We already have Sky Ultimate with the Sky Stream contract.  So will our Sky Glass tv automatically know it should include the Ultimate option?  And once the Glass tv is up and running how easy is it to cancel the Sky Stream part?  We have had for over 2 years.  Thanks.

I believe your Stream contract will just run on the Glass. Once your Glass is up and running you should be able to cancel Stream by ringing Sky.

Unless you have Whole Home on your account you won't be able to properly setup the Sky Glass whilst the Sky Stream puck is active on your account, as you can only have one Sky streaming device setup on your account at a time without Whole Home.  I believe you will essentially need to remove the Sky Stream puck from your account for the Sky Glass to be able to run through the setup correctly.

I meant the Ultimate TV would run on the Glass as the chosen TV package. I'm surprised Sky didn't process the cancellation of Stream at the time the Glass order was made.

The Glass tv is being delivered on Monday.  They have included Whole Home in the package.  I'm hoping that once the Sky Glass tv is up and running that I will be able to cancel the Sky Stream and Whole Home, as we will only be using one tv.

Yeah that will also work.

Whole Home does have a 31 day cancellation period, but you should be able to put in that cancellation at any time.

@Snookiecrome Yes, you should be able to cancel Whole Home at that point.
