Streaming pick just turns off when paused

Instead of pausing for 45mins as advertised, the streaming pick just turns off after about 5 mins - anyone else had this?

Hi @Skyarerubbish25  As annoying as it is the Stream puck will turn off after being paused for only 10 minutes on a live broadcast.  It is actually designed to do this as part of the Sky ECO policy.

Unfortunately there is nothing that you can do to alter this time frame.  The only work around I have found is if I think I will be away from the TV for more than 10 minutes instead of pausing I make a mental note of the programme position and rewind it 15 minutes (or whatever I think is appropriate).  When I come back to the TV it is a simple matter to get the programme back to the position I want.

I don't mind the concept of it turning off but it should be after a longer period than only 10 minutes.

Re: Streaming pick just turns off when paused

Curious if anyone has tried sticking the remote in their pocket?

say your going out to the kitchen to make a cuppa, the stream is paused, the remote does send event codes to the sky box when its moved.

failing that, remote blasters can be used to send unassigned commands to the puck evry so often

(smart life/home assistant etc)
