Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Hi @2393.m15hK4.0591  I thought this issue had been resolved by Sky but obviously not as yours is the second post I have read this evening. As a temporary solution try changing your audio setting to PCM or passthrough.  I found mine worked OK on Dolby Digital plus when I had lip sync issues in the past.

Also, as with any electronic gadget these days a reboot will often resolve issues. To do a reboot/restart go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset).  It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t worry as this is a normal part of the process.

Sound out of sync

The sound is about 2 seconds ahead of the picture it's almost becoming impossible to watch . Tried changing sound settings nothing works, watching a football match is dreadful the crowd cheer before something happens . I pay a lot of money every month for something that is a joke

Same here, last few days it's done it multiple times. Just pulled the power 20 minutes ago and it's out of sync AGAIN.

Bloody Joke.

The list of issues I have with Sky Glass is longer than the screen is wide, but this is a show stopper.

I should say it's only "live" TV that does it, seems downloads are OK.

Lip Sync - Sky Glass

I've noticed if I watch a programme using 'watch from start' , when that programme finishes, the TV automatically goes back to the programme which is now playing but the lip sync is totally out??

I have to go onto another channel,  select that then go back to the original programme?!

What is going on??!!

Power off the TV unplug from mains plug back in switch it back on. Should solve the issue. Had problems on TLC and ITV a few weeks ago. All other channels were OK.
