Soundbar optical imput on Glass Air wont work
The optical input doesn't seem to work with my soundbar. It recognises something is there but neither the sky or soundbar controls will operate the volume. I have selected the optical sound option from sound input choices.

The optical port on Sky Glass Air is an output, not an input.
What is the make/model of the soundbar - this will help us to give further assistance.

As far as I can see, Q Acoustics no longer make soundbars so it's likely that it's discontinued.
If it doesn't have eARC capability then all you can do is connect the Glass Air TV to the soundbar via the optical cable and check to see if any infrared remote codes will allow you to pair the Glass Air remote to the soundbar. It's probably unlikely for a discontinued model though. You should at least be able to control the volume of the soundbar with the remote that came with it.
