Hi @Amy0405 that does definitely sound like a fault. It certainly shouldn't turn on with a black screen, be unresponsive or flicker on and off. It also sounds like rebooting via switching off at the mains isn't working. Have you tried reporting to Sky and requesting a replacement set yet?

If this doesn't help either call Sky for some troubleshooting or if you prefer post back here and ask for your post to be escalated to the Community Messaging Team for an online chat.

Hi thank you. This does resolve the problem but it keeps reoccurring again, often during the week.

Surely there should be a more simple way to power cycle (reboot) these devices, modern homes often have ugly switches and sockets well hidden and simply turning off at the wall socket is not always simple. Suggest something is added via the remote or the screen, maybe if you added development to hold the power button for 15 seconds or something

There is an option that was added in the QS28 software release that gives a restart device option in the settings.

Can you get to this when sky glass is telling you the internet connection is down even though you know it is good?

Hi @RobW Yes, in fact I did exactly that last night when my puck lost the network connection for some reason (first time in months). On the screen that says "No Network" below the no network icon is a settings button. I just selected that and had no problem. In my case I was just being lazy as it would have been easy enough for me to pull the wall socket.
