Sky glass stress

I have been a sky customer for over 30 years and I have never been so disappointed

sky glass for the last 2 F1 races literally freezes screen with a audible noise like it's stuck

the tv turns off and powers back up

5 times last night I had my phone running to prove it was defo not an internet WiFi issue

I am calling sky this week to return it I'm done

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Hi @Paul405

Not had that issue with F1. You could have a bad unit or some other factor at play causing poor experience. Does your internet meet the minimum requirements? Have you tried connecting via ethernet instead of WiFi etc? Have you reported the issue to Sky?

You mention returning your set, Sky usually only allow this if you are in your first 31 days unless you have logged the defects with them. You may need to make a complaint as outlined here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

If you would like the communities help, please post more about your set up and the issues you are seeing. Is it specific times of day? Specific content (e.g UHD) etc. and we will do our best to assist. However remember we are just customers, not Sky customer service.

Re: Sky glass stress

It is connection between your Glass TV and the Sky servers that's important ... your phones connection to the internet is irrelevant🤔
