Sky glass return

My sky glass tv stopped receiving power and I am awaiting the arrival of a new one. I have only just read the email about delivery and says they want the old one back. Problem is I've chucked it. What happens next? Do they need the old one or is it just a courtesy they take it away?

If this is a warranty swap then yes, they would need the old one. Sky refurbish faulty Glass units and re-use them for other warranty swaps. You'll need to ring them about this.

I expected the delivery company will declared a failed delivery as there is nothing to collect ... and take the replacement tv away🤔

It's still in my dad's van so gonna get hin to drop it round before they arrive. Thanks! Luckily he hadn't got to the dump yet 😂

Hmmm, you still need to make sure it is cosmetically sound. If thrown around and damaged it could may not but could still cause you some issues.
