Sky glass freezing

Sky glass keeps freezing both picture and sound can only be resolved by unplugging the tv to reset it it has been happening ever since I've had the tv happens maybe 3/4 times a week. It's definitely not a problem with my WiFi either.

To check if it is your wifi you could temporarily run an Ethernet cable from your router to your glass and see if the problem still exists (make sure you turn off the wifi in settings)

can you also check what speed you are getting at glass by going into the Netflix app and go to settings then check network ..... you need roughly 30mb for minimum optimal use

Re: Sky glass freezing

My WiFi has always been connected by Ethernet cable anyway I'll follow your advice but the WiFi is definitely not the problem

If you be always been connected by ethernet then you also need to turn off the wifi in the settings

other things to consider ... changing the ethernet cable in case it has a fault

if you are using a network switch these can be problematic

try running off wifi only and not ethernet
