I'm sorry I don't know what DTT or EPG means 🙈😂

im about 2 and a half years into my loan with them and I asked about cancelling and just paying the tv and they told me I MUST have the basic package with sky at a minimum.
I don't watch anything on sky or even normal tv. This household watches Disney, Netflix, occasionally prime (which may be my next cancel) and BBC player for Mr Tumble (which I can also find on YouTube) and I have my old PS4 connected for DVD usage. The end goal is to get a fire stick just wanted to solve this problem.

oh and I have my WiFi with a different company so I am unsure what you mean about the disconnecting the internet sentence 🤭

Sorry !

dtt is an abbreviation for free to air tv (the kind you get through an aerial for example)

epg is an abbreviation for an episode guide where you would press the guide button on your tv remote and it would bring up a list of (normally free or in your case including all the sky) channels.

in your scenario providing you are now out of contract you can give 30 days notice for your tv subscription. This will leave you paying for the tv only. You just make sure that you keep your sky account active though (which is not chargeable) to keep the tv activated and grant you access to all of the apps
