Sky glass delivered broken

Hi - wondered if anyone else suffered the same - I had a sky glass delivered today - it had a bleeding from the top of the screes - the delivery men said "this will clear when you set it up" - luckily they took photos. They left I tried to set up discovered the bleeding was very bad - spent 90 minutes navigating Sky messaging , spoke to 2 customer advisors in the end this was what I had to do.

Have the TV screen returned on the Saturday (they accept it was delivered withe the fault but are insiting and have added £25 to my account for them to come and pick it up)

They are not replacing it - if i want to get a Sky glass I then need to reapply for it

I was not advised I would need an additional "puck" to replace the Sky Q box in the kitchen despite Sky knowing how many Q boxes I subscribe to.

They have cancelled my streaming deal which means I am now on a worst package. It seems apalling customer service for a longstanding customer - am i unlucky? is this standard? shoudl I be looking to leave sky? is the glass worth this level of hassle? please advise.....

@HLNSLVN  Sky should be swapping the TV as it's defective, not making you sign up again.  I would suggest raising a complaint.  https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

Regarding the pucks unless you order them at the time Sky won;t know how many you wanted as suprisingly they can't read your mind, it's irrelevent how many minis you had as peoples circumstances change and wyould be wrong of Sky to presume.

Normnally the 1st Puck is free, each additional puck has a £39.95 activation fee.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Thank you great advice on the pucks - do you think its worth it with the glass (once this set of shenanigans is sorted) it looks pretty impressive I have to say - is it improvement on sky q

Glass and Q are completely different services. Sky Glass is a TV. Sky Q is a box that you connect to a dish and to your existing TV.

Do you actually need a new TV? If you like the idea of having everything tied in to one box and the ability to pay for it over a long period then Glass might be the right thing for you. Is it the best TV on the market? No. Does it work well for some people? Yes. Does it work badly for some people? Yes. Is it worth what Sky charge for it? Depends on what you're looking for in a TV and a streaming service.
