Re: Sky glass 55” tv

I just want to listen to the TV through my Beats buds so I do not disturb anyone in the late nights and early mornings.

You can connect your buds directly to the TV via bluetooth

through the following menu selection

Settings

Connected Devices

Bluetooth devices

Add new device

Re: Sky glass 55” tv

  • Hi

I tried that but it it didn't work.

How do I check that the TV has Bluetooth.

My Beats are connected through Bluetooth via my phone.

On turning off Bluetooth on my phone to see if they would connect through the TV alone it showed on screen that my phone wasn't supported.

Do I need to connect something to the TV to enable Bluetooth devices to be connected?

Hi @adea The headphones must be A2DP compliant as this is the only standard that Glass currently supports. I would be surprised if Beats were not compliant as it is the most common format.

@adea  If you have not already done so try restarting your Glass and then trying to see if it now recognises your Beats.

To do a restart go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device.  It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t be concerned when this happens.
