Had Sky Glass for a while now and it's great in many senses but what is really annoying me is the fact that you can't continue watching a programme on another now where you left off. If I am watching something in our lounge and then go to another room I turn on the sky glass puck and it shows me where I left off but when I select it glass restarts the episode.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere's two ways to look at this
the logic I believe is that sky are assuming that the puck in another room maybe used by a separate person
in my case my daughter has one in her room and we occasionally watch the same shows but are at different stages. Suits us that it doesn't continue where it was left .........

That is a possibility. But when I do go through to say the kitchen it shows me where I left off. An example would be 20 mins into a show and when i click on it it will go into the streaming platform that Sky Glass uses and it restarts the show. It doesn't do this for every streaming platform and not on its own system. It might just be that they are still getting all these companies to work with Glass.

I have found a similar problem too if for example you go back to watch something on the All4 app if you go through continue watching it opens the app but just plays from the begining again 👎😩🙈

I found this problem out last night and I have a feeling it's something to do with UHD and HD for me.
I watched 3 episodes back to back ad free of The last of us in UHD in the living room, started watching episode 4 and decided to watch the rest in bed in the bedroom on a HD TV...
It didn't pick up where I left off and it has ads!
If I look at the run times for episode 3 for example in UHD it's 43mins, in HD its 45mins, so that explains the adverts! I think that's ridiculous in itself.
The UHD CW must be superate to the HD which is annoying! So if I'm watching in UHD in living room then it won't pick it up in HD bedroom.
UHD to UHD is fine
HD to HD is fine
UHD to HD isn't working

The solution would be continue watching or watch from start, maybe Sky will offer this at some stage.
