Sky Glass Remote Intermittant

Sky Glass remote lately is driving me insane.

 

Plenty of posts regarding remote not working at all but I have an issue whereby it works sometimes and not others.  Sometimes a long delay before it works.

 

Reset remote, repaired remote, changed batteries but it still continues!

 

I have two remotes and it seems to happen with both.  Remote for pick upstairs is fine.

 

Any suggestions or other folk suffering the same issue?

@Anonymous I see you have tried the obvious solutions. One other thing to try is to take hold of the remote at both ends and gently twist it as though you were wringing out a cloth.  This sounds ridiculous but has worked for many people in the past (including me).

 

If that doesn't work I would phone Sky and request a replacement.  In the meantime , is you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote on Glass TV or Puck.

Yes a sky remote replacement is the best way to go. Phone sky and request another

Been a sky customer through the ages from before HD boxes were a thing! When sky was a box you had to wind up to work 
