Sky Glass Puck

I have the full SkyQ system multiroomed in 3 rooms, paying just over £100 per month. I have just had a new extention built and want to replace my multiroom to Sky Glass and need to know how the new Skygalss puck is conected to each tv?

Also can you hide the new puck behind a wall mounted tv or will it not respond toits hand controller? I do not want to have a shelf with the puck on near to the wall mounted tv.

Will I save money by taking Sky Glass?

Thanks Cromo

Hi @Cromo

If you change to Sky Stream then you plug them into the TV via HDMI and then either use WiFi or ethernet to connect to your router.

Pricing you could be better off but it's worth researching because the lack of traditional recording that you get with Sky Q.

Thanks,

Tim

@Cromo  Be aware you will need to replace your whole sky q system you can't have sky q main box and use streams as a multi room option. You can in theory place a puck hidden away and the remote should work as it Bluetooth but bare in mind hiding a puck behind any  electrical equipment can cause Wi-Fi interference
