Sky Glass Damaged screen second tv in 18 months
Dec 27th 2024 Sky replaced my 65" Tv due to screen bleed causing lines down. No it was not damaged by ourselves , (this went out of Warrenty March 2024)
Last week not 6 months old the second tv does the same.
contacted Sky what a waste of time. Apparently we only had 38 days Guarantee with the second one and can pay £649. for a new one. Agets Rude and extremly unhelpfull
Absoulutley no assistance at all just wanted more money. WHY WOULD 2 TV'S DO EXATLY THE SAME AND IN THE SAME PLACE.
they even refered me to www.cedr.com/consumer/cisas to make my complaint - yes i have logged it and this product is not fit for purpose
NOW PURCHASED A NEW NORMAL TV AND CAN NOT WAIT FOR MY CONTACT TO END

Re: Sky Glass Damaged screen second tv in 18 months
@Julian57 That sucks for sure. It's a lottery with these TV's. I had a Gen One for over three years, no problems with it. Had to replace my first Gen Two in under a week due to a faulty panel.
But then, it's like any other electrical item. Any can fail at any time.
