Discussion topic: Sky Glass Cast Device Name

Hey,

When I am casting YouTube or any other compatible app to my Sky Glass TV it is always named: "Living Room".

Is there a way to change this?

I want to have it named: "Sky Glass" instead.

The only options are pre determined room names that can be altered in settings.

Its not possiblke to edit the names. @huntersMoc

Hi @huntersMoc

As @Jayboy1990 says you can not add your own name, but you can change it (to another in the predefined list) by going Settings > Network > Advanced > Device location.

Thanks @Jayboy1990,

It would be really great if they could introduce a custom name option.

It really doesn't make sense in my house leaving it named after a room.
