Hi, I have sky glass and last year certain BBC programs where available to watch after they were broadcast like Death in Paradide, Call the Midwife and Silent Witness. There seems to be a glitch this year and episodes 3 & 4 of season 27 are not there it's so annoying as 5 to 8 are there but I can't watch on because of the missing 2, same with episode 2 of Call the Midwife's current season. Has anyone any idea if sky will fix this issue. Thanks

Republic of Ireland
BBC iplayer app is not available as that's UK only
BBC instead make available a very limited selection of content as on demand that's uploaded to Sky Ireland Server.
That content gets removed often after a few days or few weeks.
BBC has it's own seperate on demand section in TV Shows on Sky Q/Sky Glass/Sky Stream in Republic of Ireland. It's not a app it's a tile to access on demand content from sky server
Customers in Republic of Ireland will have to watch live broadcasts instead for most content as it's very limited what BBC provide available as on demand.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Coco6 It's not a Sky issue, it's an iplayer/BBC issue, have you contacted the BBC?
Sky have no control over the BBC's on Demand service.

@Coco6 have you tried finding them from the BBC IPlayer app from the Sky Home Screen? I agree it's frustrating if they're not available from your playlist but they often show in the iPlayer app.
worth a try.

Hi unfortunately because I am in the Republic of Ireland the bbc Iplayer is not on the app list. I would have done that for sure if it was available. Thanks for your suggestion

We have call the midwife and silent witness setup and have had no problems watching either a day or a week later

Due to licensing restrictions the BBC have choosen not to make as many shows available to the ROI. In all likelihood because they potentially want to resell the shows to Irish based broadcasters at some point.

I sometimes find an episode of a show or a few of them don't show in my playlist but if I go directly to the app they are there. Yes another annoying thing.

Republic of Ireland
On demand content made available by BBC is limited and some is content removed after 30 days or after 7 days.
It's BBC who decide what content is made available as on demand and lot of content you will have to watch live broadcasts instead.
There can also be a delay when BBC upload content to Sky Ireland server that can result in missing episodes some will be made available later or not be made available.
Sky Glass/Sky Stream
Home menu
TV Shows
With remote scroll and click BBC tile
Only what is listed in that on demand section will be available
Note
Death in Paradise is available on Alibi
Alibi has it's own seperate on demand section in TV shows
Seasons 1 to 13 available
