Screen crash and not turning on
I have a year old Sky Glass TV and since day one I've had issues with screen crashing. I've put up with it as the TV is not our main one and I use it only as a backup when the main one is taken over by reality shows. The issue I have is that after approximately two minutes, the screen crashes to either a black pixelated screen or a snowfall screen. This coincides with the horrendous noise you get with a non tuned analogue picture. It's quite a scare if it happens 45 minutes into a movie and the sound is on relatively loud. As I've said, I've put up with it as a quick turn on and off at the socket stops it happening again during one viewing. I thought originally it was WiFi, but this is not the case as I now have 1gb with solid WiFi strength. The second issue which is prompting me to now post is even more infuriating. I now have an issue in which the TV just doesn't turn on. It results in a factory reset every 2-3 times it's turned on. I don't get a red light on the bottom. When you turn the TV on at the wall socket, you get no response at all. Even after five minutes. Then the only way to get the TV is to go through a reboot, which then requires a network connection, software download and this is becoming painful. I'm not one for retuning goods but it's now just over a year old and it feels like it's almost end of life already. Not a great experience from Sky Glass so far. 😞

Re: Screen crash and not turning on
Call Sky for further troubleshooting and get the TV replaced whilst it's still under warranty. You've paid hundreds of pounds for this thing so it shouldn't be as glitchy as yours clearly is.
