Yes I am already missing this functionality with Sky so much so I am keeping Apple TV up to date on my mobile alongside Sky. It is crazy there is no Sky app linked into your devices as this is standard practice these days.

Considering how Sky's streaming service is now 4 years old, it does seem rather backward to be so basic. Though I suppose Sky's service has always been about making things simple for all. Also, their reduction in staff in recent months perhaps has led to fewer people in the app development side of things.
They may think that adding another app on top of MySky, SkyGo and SkyStore is just too much for most customers to handle.
