Remote not working

My remote for sky glass not working tried everything took batteries out and put back in certain buttons will work ie the volume but not others

Try resetting the remote, firstly press and hold 4 & 6 for around 10 seconds, then press and hold 7 & 9 for around 10 seconds.

Then attempt to pair by pressing and holding 1 & 3 until the message appears on screen.

If you have an old Sky Q remote you can pair that by pressing and holding 1 & 3 until the message appears.

I tried all the sky help tips and advice given previously when ringing helpline, including turning off Internet. 

This was attempted again and again over 2 hours.  We have had sky stream since December and this is a repeated problem on only 1 of the tvs with a puck. 

Last resort was 'wringing' the remote as said on here.  Instantly worked.  Thank you for advice
