After 5-10 mins of watching Sky Max, I get thrown out of the channel and advised that I need to upgrade as I don't have the subscription to watch this channel. As I have Sky Glass I do have the subscription.
It is very coincidental that last night my Sky Glass did an upgrade, as yesterday it asked me to confirm that it should upgrade the next time it was idle.
Any advice from anyone, apart from powering it off for 5 mins, which I don't understand how that would work ?

Glass is essentially a computing device, and rebooting a computer is a basic troubleshooting measure: there's also no harm in trying it, and Sky will usually insist that's tried first. 'Five minutes' is an entirely arbitrary period (30 seconds would also be fine) : the point is not to 'flicker' the power supply.
Subscription issues, however, typically need to be resolved by Sky themselves.
