Questions about Whole Home with second Sky glass
I've added the Whole Home pack to my account with a second Sky Glass TV for the bedroom. Coming with the delivery is a Sky Puck but my question is, do I actually need the puck as the only TV's I'll be watching on are Sky Glass? Also will my original (current) Sky Glass remain as the primary device? Can someone please explain the process of what I need to do to fully activate my Whole Home subscription once I plug in my new second Sky Glass? Will all my playlist/continue watching appear straight away? What about my apps, will they all be signed in? Will I be able to pause live TV on one Sky Glass and pick up easily on the second? If so, what happens when I turn on the other Sky Glass in this situation? When I turn it on does it come on to the same paused screen and I can pick up watching or is it not quite as seamless as that?

Once you have activated the new tv, go to your my sky app open it go to device management and just change which tv you want to be primary device, you will find this in product settings on the app, if you have not already done so you will need to download the my sky app

Why would the OP want to do that. The main question is do they need the puck they have ordered which they don't because they will only be using the Glass tvs.

Re: Questions about Whole Home with second Sky glass
- Thanks for your answers so far. If anyone could help with the remaining questions in my post, I'd appreciate. First time going Whole Home and was told I'd need the puck for the extra Sky Glass, I thought that would be wrong and will just end up with it sat at the bottom of a cupboard. So, Just by upgrading to the Whole Home subscription, everything will be synced from one TV to the other without the need to ever plug in the puck?

Whoever told you you'd need a puck for a second Sky Glass clearly has no clue about how the product functions. If it was a Sky employee then they need to redo their training.
Your playlists and profiles are all stored on Sky's servers, not on the Glass TVs themselves. They should sync whenever each TV is turned on or refreshed. It's not instantaneous and can depend on network and server conditions, but it will synchronise between the two Glass TVs eventually. It can be anything from a few seconds to minutes. Doing a restart from the settings menu normally forces a sync from the server. This will take a couple of minutes.

I'd agree with this - if they have given you the puck free of charge then it's not really an issue, you can just keep it stored away in case you get another TV in the future and want to connect the puck to that. If however they have charged you the £39.95 activation fee for the puck I'd suggest raising an official complaint with Sky.

Re: Questions about Whole Home with second Sky glass
I was offered the puck free of charge, thankfully but was told that by a Sky employee.

Can you pause live tv on one Glass and pick up on the other easily? If so, how do you get to the paused live tv picture on the second Glass TV?
