Possible upgrade to Sky glass
our current Sky system has recently been failing to start (9 times since 12/10/2025)
We have had similar failings in the past
We think it may be time to consider upgrade to 55" Sky Glass

Consider Sky Glass only if you need a new TV on a long term interest free loan agreement.
You can also consider Sky Stream if you don't need a new TV.
Only consider either option if you can provide a fast and stable enough broadband connection.

Re: Possible upgrade to Sky glass
You should not view Glass or Stream as an upgrade as it is completely different to Q if that is what you currently have.
No recording, loss of some niche channels though Talking Pictures TV is probably a biggy.
Everything is delivered over the Internet so you need a good connection and nothing records it is provided on demand and via apps like iplayer, itvx etc.
That said it is very much an integrated system that brings together almost all viewing onto one easy to use platform but it does have glitches.
Do your homework watch videos on YouTube and if you can visit a Sky booth or store I'd recommend that to try it out.
It can be a marmite product and when it works well it is excellent but there are times I could throw it through the window.
The Gen2 Glass TV has very good picture quality and sound not bad but not brilliant. If you don't need a new TV look at the Streaming option as said above.
