Good Evening, I have fibre to the House and generally have around 6 devices connected to the hub, including the Puck, Glass TV and a 2-3 phones and one computer. Not all connected at the same time but the speed is so bad from the WiFi is so poor that the Glass TV buffers on a regular basis, takes some time to load, speech and pictures fall out of sync. It's a really poor service. The Router is less than 1m from the incoming fibre box, then the TV is around 12ft from the router, with only 1 wall in the way. How can the sky router be so poor ?!
Hi
what speed is your internet ? Also what speed is listed in your my sky app when you run a line speed test ?
Providing your line is working as expected the first thing to check is the speed you are receiving on the glass . Do this by opening the Netflix app and going to settings. Then go to network and run the network check. You will need at least 30mb to 35mb run effectively.
The best way to overcome the issue is to use a set of inexpensive powerline adapters to connect the tv directly to the router.

Our Internet is guaranteed 400mbs, it is showing as 500mbs on the router but only 55/56 by wireless, only 15 ft away from the router

What is the nature of the construction of the wall?
Have you tried a powerline network connection?

It's only breeze block with no steel in it, there is a wooden door that's only pine, so soft and not dense
Wiring direct is not an option here

If that's a white Max Hub, repeated posts in the Sky Broadband forum appear to indicate it struggles in some properties.

No it's the new black one, only around 6 months old

Direct Ethernet cabling is not required for powerline networking just the rooms being on the same ringmain ... are the rooms on different ringmains?

There's a good chance a powerline networking connection might work😉
