Paramount+ Will Not Activate Since Sky Glass Switch

Had Glass since Saturday and as the title says I'm finding it impossible to get Paramount to activate, when I click activate on the sky app it just loops back and continues to say 'awaiting activation'. Have also tried through the TV itself but still won't work.

 

When i sign into the Paramount app/website i just get a screen asking what payed tier I'd like to sign up for, never had any problems on Sky Q.

 

Anyone else had the same and know of a fix?

Finally found out how to sort this so thought I would post incase anyone else has the same problem in the future.

 

All I had to do [after trying everything else humanly possible] was to remove the Paramount+ app from my phone, once that is uninstalled you'll be able to activate straight away.

 

Don't ask me how or why, you just do 😁

Hi @Leec53. Did you move from Sky Q or any other Sky product to Stream as if so all your Marketplace subscriptions are cancelled so you have to re-register (see the THIS link). If this is the case you need to re-register before activating.

 

You can register or re-registered (as appropriate) by doing the following:  Use the voice command "My Sky" and then select the following:  your products / (enter your PIN) / App Subscriptions / Current / and then Paramount + Monthly. Hopefully it will say £0 per month as you have Sky Cinema. If so select Activate subscription.

Thanks for the reply and yes we did switch from Q.

 

Sadly I'd already tried what you advised but when I go to Paramount to enter the code that screen just doesnt show, its just the Paramount home screen and when I do sign in it just shows the three paying tiers as options no £0 choice.

 

Also does the same if I sign in to Paramount beforehand to try and force it to the code entry page.

 

I don't know whether to try and make a new Paramount account with a different email address though that would be different from the email I use with Sky.
