Panasonic 4K blu ray player won’t connect to Sky Glass

I have now tried to connect two blu ray players to my Sky Glass tv. The Panasonic 4K one is the newest but the tv doesn't recognise it at all. The older Samsung player flashed Samsung briefly on the screen then nothing. Please can anyone help. I am using HDMI 3 & have been into setting & turned on the older compatibility button.

I'm having exactly the same problem, finally got it to work using the older compatibility problem, but this is a brand new Panasonic 4K player, and also the picture when playing dvds even 4K ones is quite grainy and keeps blurring, can anyone help please.

Try a hdmi 2.1 cable
